A Beautiful, Complete Set of 24 Elder Futhark Runes.
Totally hand crafted, carved and engraved from a single piece of reclaimed Oak Wood.
No lasers, No mass production cnc machines.. As I believe these things should be charged with natural energies from conception to completion - from my hand to yours.
The pictured set is an example.. slight variations will occur due to grain variations in oak & the handmade nature of these runes.
Each rune tile is individually hand cut by myself, the four edges are charred black and the faces of the tiles are flash charred to provide an Ombré colouration and completely natural elemental contrast.
After this process they are cleaned of loose debris by wire brush and cloth and then submerged in teak oil, drained and left to air dry for 24hrs.
Each Runic pictograph is then focused on & meticulously hand engraved onto the tiles.
Each rune measures approx
1¼'' (3cm) Height , ¾''(2cm) Width , ¼''(0.8cm) Depth.
Together they come with their own spacious black cotton drawstring bag and are light enough to use as a nice everyday traveling set.
Bag dimensions are approx 6'' x 4'' - plenty large enough for them to nicely move around with a shake..and wrap up nicely later.
